Why Shloimy runs
A year ago I could not run to the end of my block. I started training on the Overpeck loop and somewhere in the middle of it I realized I wanted the miles to mean something. So I am running this 5K for Yad Leah, because a kid opening a bag of clothing that actually fits him is the whole point. Sponsor a mile — there are 3.1 of them and every one has your name on it.
